How can Nature-based Solutions move beyond grants and become financially viable?
LAND4CLIMATE will host the second webinar of its series, “NbS Finance – Business Case Development and Financing Strategies”, co-organised with DesirMED. Taking place online on 13 October 2026, from 14:00 to 15:15 CEST, the session will explore how Nature-based Solutions can be financed and scaled in practice, bringing together technical expertise and regional implementation experience.
The webinar will bring together academic, innovation and regional perspectives, including examples from LAND4CLIMATE demonstration regions and DesirMED’s work on innovative business models and business case development.
The discussion will address key questions around the financing of Nature-based Solutions, including the differences between funding, financing and business cases, the challenges NbS projects face in securing investment, and how regional experience can help turn financing concepts into successful implementation.
