Financing Nature-Based Solutions Webinar Series

Access to capital remains one of the largest hurdles to financing adaptation and scaling Nature-based Solutions (NbS), limiting the ability of regional and local authorities to build local resilience and restore nature. While innovative financing mechanisms are emerging across Europe, critical questions remain: Do they work? And how can they be replicated locally?

Our Learn to Leverage: Unlocking finance for NbS & climate adaptation webinars are organised as part of the CARDIMED capacity building programme with the support of MIP4ADAPT and NetworkNature.

During this series of financing webinars, we will explore different approaches to financing Nature-based Solutions and climate adaptation, from debt, blended finance and Public-Private Partnerships to Payments for Ecosystem Services and biodiversity credits.

Join us for actionable, case-study-driven webinars where leading practitioners break down the mechanics of these financing models. Moving beyond high-level theory, our speakers will reveal the inner workings of their financial mechanisms, sharing real revenue structures, governance frameworks, and candid lessons learned.
