Short Description:

An energy agency providing advisory services to public and private actors, households and citizens on energy issues. IRENA represents a quality link in the functioning of all energy-related stakeholders within the Istrian Region. IRENA is active in the promotion of energy efficiency (EE), renewable energies (RES) use and cogeneration, use of innovative materials and technologies in energy saving, experienced in fields related to energy refurbishment, preparation, development and implementation of projects related to EE/RES.

Role in CARDIMED:

IRENA is participating in the following CARDIMED activitiers: online training workshops led by ICLEI; development of the projects’ communication plan and spreading project results through media and social network channels, articles, seminars, conferences etc.; raising awareness about project results and cooperation with local and regional stakeholders through joint webinars and conferences, input of relevant data in projects’ web platform, analysis of possibility for further financing of project results.
