Role in CARDIMED:

EBOS plays a crucial role in the CARDIMED project by actively coordinating demonstration activities and leading the specific tasks related to DEMO9. In this role, EBOS collaborates with various partners, overseeing the implementation of interventions in "Gardens of the future in the heart of Nicosia city." This includes installing cameras, employing AI-based plant growth monitoring, designing halophyte systems (IRID), implementing subsurface rainwater harvesting solutions (HYDR), and managing alignment and replication efforts (LEFK). EBOS's involvement spans from the design and procurement phase to the evaluation of objectives and KPIs in the later stages of the project. The overall objective is to showcase and validate Nature Based Solutions (NBS) for climate resilience and adaptation, ensuring effective coordination and successful implementation of DEMO9 activities.
